QUINTUM SCUTUM RESEARCH CENTER

The Quintum Scutum Research Center is an independent, non-profit association bringing together highly specialized professionals and committed citizens dedicated to exploring new approaches to crisis management, with a particular focus on protecting victims of war, terrorism, organized crime, and domestic violence.

• Innovative crisis-management methodologies, including the use of advanced technologies and holistic, integrated social-engineering approaches.
• Biophilia-based strategies to support operational stress management and post-traumatic recovery.
• Trade and intercultural dialogue as tools to mitigate the consequences of conflict.

The Center’s mission is to positively influence the thinking of policymakers and engaged citizens by producing practical, evidence-based studies capable of generating real, measurable benefits for communities and contributing to societal development.

The Center is also a training partner of the Master’s Programme in Crisis & Disaster Management at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and is also one of the partners of the VIRTUOUS research project, co-funded by the European Commission and aimed at protecting places of worship from terrorist attacks.
